LAUNCHING SOON!!! TIC TOC, TIC TOC, TIC TOC

TIC-TOC is a waste management device. It is a unique initiative that will record perishable food (mainly within your fridge) so that the householder can reduce the amount of food they throw away saving them up to £60 every month, and local authorities millions every year in dealing with food waste, not to mention the environmental benefits.

We have had much interest from councils across the country to TIC-TOC.

We have 2 particular boroughs who wish to trial the device as they have the facility to weigh the food waste lorries to any change to waste levels. They will distribute the device to homes and calculate and report back with the data. A positive impact will open the doors to other councils being able to write the device into their budgets. Waste is one of the largest costs faced by any council and they await the results with anticipation. We are talking about roughly 5000 homes.

Waste is very much a hot topic , in this economic climate householders are all looking for ways to save a few quid. Retailers are also feeling the pressure of meeting Courtauld agreement targets, one specifically is to reduce customers food waste and of course councils are desperate to reduce both the economic burden of waste and landfill / environmental consequences.
